I received a call which left a recorded voice mail saying there are several allegations regarding my person and to please call as to prevent legal action. That recording directed me to the number I have provided here. I called and could hear quite a disturbance in the background sounding like many people. A man who had difficulty in speaking English identified himself as Officer Alex Cooper. I began to question him on who he was and where and why was he calling me. He fumbled around with his wording and then identified himself as Officer Alex Cooper of the IRS. I asked to whom Exactly he wanted to speak to and fumbled around with my name after pausing. Then he repeated that he was Officer Alex Cooper of the IRS and then we got disconnected. I believe I threw his ' game ' off when I began to ask him questions. I later looked on line for the BBB in NY and learned about Scammers calling Tax Payers with threats, etc. I hope this info was helpful.
