A so-called courier called top priority contacted me saying they attempted to deliver a package and I wasn't home. They gave me a number to call which was an 866 number. I called the number and the company claimed they were NRS group. They said if I didn't pay for a debt that was from 2014 from a hospital I wasn't even near at that time of my life that I would get a judgment put against me. I challenged them and said send me a validation letter within 5 days as it is my legal right to request that. They didn't even know what that was and I told them they are a scam and I hung up and blocked them. They tried to take $3,300 from me claiming it was including court fees. I didn't pay them a dime but it is scary. They have my information at least my old addresses and the last four of my social.

Received a call from Marion Illinois stating they were a delivery service was canceling an attempt of documentation that trying to be delivered. I was instructed to call NRS. They said that they were a 3rd party debt collector for a hospital bill from 2013 and if I didn’t make payment arrangements with the that they will proceed with filling judgment against me. She sent a payment agreement to my email and if I didn’t sign it and pay be this 11:59 tonight the opportunity to pay the principal balance, of 1781, I will lose out and will have to go to court for a balance of 3300.

NRS Group scam

Start out by getting a call from 830-216-8206, a guy calling to try to make a delivery of paperwork. When questioned he gives a number 866-651-5964 with a reference # to call and find out what’s being delivered. I called and spoke with a lady who said her name was Monica, she proceeded to tell me I was being sued for a past medical debt with a local hospital. Even though I’ve never received any sort of letter in the mail about it. I asked for all the info to be emailed to me, I only received a link to set up a payment agreement to avoid going to court. I contacted the local hospital and hadn’t been seen there for the date in question and quite a few years before or after. There isn’t a real NRS group, you can find other places with similar names but they are legitimate debt collection businesses.

Was contacted via phone asking to set a time for delivery of legal action documents. This lady gave me a phone call to call and when I called the person said I owed two medical bills from 2011 from Biloxi Regional Hospital. I did not believe them at first so I called the hospital (which is now called Biloxi Merit) and was told that they showed two closed accounts, but could not provide me with any other information. I went ahead and set up a payment plan with NRS Group and was told my bank account would show withdrawal from HRI Financial. I received a similar phone call today from a different business with the same information NRS Group said I owed...basically wanting to hit me twice for the supposed same amount of debt that I already started paying on. I cannot find NRS Group in the BBB. I found a website, for National Recovery Services, LLC (www.nrsgroup.com). The address on the website for the company is 1025 Tomlyn Ave, Shoreview MN 55126 - (612) 850-1051. None of these addresses apply to the National Recovery Services, LLC listed in BBB. The ScamPulse.com listed group is not accredited and is listed in Kansas. Per the website, The group of lawyers are scattered between Oregon, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The number provided to me on a letter (there was no address provided) was a number from Nevada (702-745-9535). The account manager is: Natalie Hernandez

The National Recovery Service, LLC found on ScamPulse.com is not accredited and has three complaints. The status is ScamPulse.com unable to locate business.
In two months, I have not received any official documentation via mail to my physical address, no emails except for one that was from Drop Box ([email protected]). I have had two draws from my account. One for $250 and another for $100. I will be contacting my bank to stop any further payments.
