Scammer (identified self as Mike Jaafar) called me and identified himself as someone who works with Rocket Mortgage in his own company. There seemed to be no legitimate info about this person or company online. All reviews (14) seem to be by family members (same last names) and were completed 5 days ago. Scammer quoted mortgage rates significantly below market value and said I’d get those rates if I paid $8500 at closing. When I asked for more information in an email follow up, he did not respond.
