My wife, myself and my wife's parents all got calls from a person named David Grays saying that my wife was involved in a civil lawsuit on Monday in the county court for the SUV that we own. They had some property/location information on us, but probably no more than anyone could find about us on the internet.

They indicated that myself and her parents were "contacts" for her regarding the SUV, and the she failed to respond to a notice for the civil matter.

We've never received any notice of a civil matter, are in good standing with our bank loan, have no accidents/issues with the SUV, and have never heard of this company before. Additionally, her parents contact information is nowhere on any of the paperwork for our loan.

Obviously someone trying to scam us.

We have not called back the number, but others should know about this scam.

I got a vm from Nationwide Legal Services said something about trying to deliver paperwork, and appearing in court. They asked me to call back 855-303-4648.

Victim's mother was contacted at her home as was told her son has a summons in his name and someone will be bringing it to her house tomorrow, by someone at Nationwide Legal Services (ph: 8556673456). The individual who called refused to provide her any information on what it was regarding. She informed the individual that her son has not lived there in 17 years. She was given the case number of 2607102.

Informed her to have her son contact local courthouse to verify if anything is in his name.

I received a telephone message left for my at work. The person said they were Michael Adams from Nationwide Legal Services, left the above phone number and a case number. I called back from my cell phone and asked for Michael Adams was told nobody there by that name and asked for a case number, at which point they transferred me to someone else, who claimed she was in the legal departent and asked to verify the last four digits of my social. She provided four digits and i told her that was not my social (which it was not) and then she asked if i ever lived at a particular address in NYC which i havent, so i told her no. She then said it was not me they were looking for, that she never called me, that she was located in california, not to call back and hung up on me.

I called back to demand information on who they were, how they got my work information, and request and an assurance in writing that they would remove me and my work information from their records, at which point i was screamed at and hung up on again.

I called back again and was told that they were monitoring my calls, recording my calls and would take legal action if i called back again.

They refused to provide any information on their name, location, the "legal department supervisor" or reason for calling.

Additionally, last night i received a notification, that my debit card number was used for a fraudulent charge made by fishpond limited in the amount of $15.44. I am not sure if these incidents are related, but occurred within 24 hours of one another.

I googled the company nationwide legal services and they stated they are not the ones who called me, and get calls similar to mine all the time, with people reporting that a random 800 number called them looking for information.

My supervisor called me into her office and said Mr. *** is sending someone out to my work to serve me today. She was worried about embarrassment. She gave me the name Nationwide Legal Services and 1-855-395-9884 which directs you to Mr *** with no business name attached. I have called this # 7/11/2016 and today 7.12.2016 and no answer except a recording of a Mr ***. I would like to file a complaint if you can find out anything about this company and they are harassing the girls that answer the phones and now my Supervisor is involved and this may hurt my job .....Thank you for any assistance
