Received a call today from someone named Morgan Brooks who left a voicemail message from a 571 area code. To summarize, she claimed to be an independent process server who plans to visit my residence on Thursday, 7/11 to serve me legal documents. She instructed me to have a photo identification available and would arrive between 3 and 5 pm. She also went on to say that if she was unable to secure my signature then, she would arrive at my place of employment. She then stated that any concerns I have were to be given to the party that filed the complaint at 832-662-8973 or if I want to "reschedule the service". She also said that if I was unavailable to sign at either work or home that it would be listed as a refusal to sign and the process would continue without me. I called the number and the voicemail identified the business as "National Dispute Resolutions." I hung up. The number is in Texas.

I contacted my State's Attorney's office. They have many complaints on this outfit. If this person shows up at my house, my State's Attorney office told me NOT to sign anything bc this outfit specializes in old debts. Even acknowledging the old debt can restart the statute of limitations and it can reappear on your credit. So I'm not signing a damn thing (if she shows up) and I will lodge a complaint and file a police report for harassment and stalking.

My husband received a voicemail mentioning both of our names. woman called and said she was trying to serve me with legal papers and would be in the area the following day and if I was not at my residence to receive them she would be forced to serve me at work. This call was on Monday and she would proceed on Wednesday. I tried calling them back kept getting automated instruction they were very busy please leave a message. The number was (740) 301-2722. Have never received a callback nor any documentation regarding the matter.

Received a call 908-800-9867 a lady by the name of Diane Bauer left a voicemail in regards to coming to my home on a Thursday between 3/5 to serve me papers if I’m not home she has no choice but to come to my place of employment to serve papers and if she is unable to get a signature she has no choice but to purse the matter. Also stated I need to have a form of ID. When I called the number back it came up as National Dispute Resolution. She stated in her voicemail if I had an questions to call 346-421-7458 called them (National Dispute Resolution) all operators are busy o can leave a message and someone will get back to me. Umm nope I do t think so

Received a call from an alleged debt collector, they had my address and the last 4 numbers of my social security number, threatened to come to my house and serve me documentation about a debt, called my father and called my brother as well leaving messages about civil suit.

Same experience as the other person in this thread , even done to the same phone number they’re calling from . ( 832 737-0527 ) Calling me , my sister and mother saying they are going to come to my job or home to serve passers on a loan from 7 years ago . I called the loan company and they told me the name of the debt collectors that have the loan & it is NOT ( N.D.R.) ‼️‼️ Plus she said BEWARE OD SXAMMERS & that THEIR LOAN COMPANY WILL NOT EVER TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST ANYONE ‼️

A woman called and said she was trying to serve me with legal papers and would be in the area the following day and if I was not at my residence to receive them she would be forced to serve me at work. She was calling from a Connecticut phone number (203)767-8663 but never showed up. A week later a different woman called but I missed it and she left a voicemail stating the same thing telling me that she had important legal documents for me and would be coming to my house the next day.My call log this time showed the call was coming from a Texas phone number (936)226-0757 but the callback number she left was (903)221-9129. Today again I received yet another call from a different woman with a different Texas number (855)527-6693 and she said the same thing about legal documents that she was bringing to me so I asked her what they were for and she told me she was just a courier and gave me a number (832)553-8161 to call and said it was from the county that I reside in. I called the number which is a Texas number and reached a man at National Debt Resolution Center (which is also the name of a nonprofit mediation agency in Houston) who informed me that I owed $800 and needed to pay immediately. He informed me that a process server was currently on the way to my house to serve me with a lawsuit for the unpaid debt. The debt was a credit card bill from over 20 years ago that was only for $200 originally and had been a charge off since Bill Clinton was in office. He said I could pay it off today for half at $400. He attempted to get me to verify my information but I told him he was a scammer and he stated the last four digits of my social security number before I hung up. It’s been three hours and two different Texas numbers have been calling me every 15 minutes since. I am so harassed that I may change my phone number.

Called claiming they want to send service papers for a credit card debt I never had worth $1500.00 telling me if I pay $500.00 now no one will come to my house. If I don’t answer the door they will automatically win and I’ll owe them 3times the original amount. Claim I don’t pay my bills and that I have “[censored] credit”. All of which is not true. When I suggested that I meet their process server at the police station he called me a name and hung up. I’ll see if anyone shows up at my house. This is all false. I have a 100% payment history on my 820 credit score. Don’t fall for these rush to pay scams. They wanted me to sign an E document and give them my credit card number. They have social security numbers and DOB which was leaked through T-Mobile but you can and should lock all credit agencies like I have. The photo has two numbers connected to the scammer.
