I’m a Caregiver and my client was so shook up whenever i arrived today with a letter in hand titled “Periculim in mora” from this company. It said she needed to send $100 to them in 36 hours or she will lose her social security. A lot of words were misspelled in the letter which is what made me think it was a scam at the beginning. Then upon my own research i found the BBB does not support the company, the “chairman” was a book Author who has nothing to do with this, as well as finding this thread and seeing others are having the same experience. The letter was nothing but a scare tactic and it’s super obvious by the envelope this is a scam. I called the number at the bottom of the letter and someone answered “hello” immediately. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!

My mom, 91, has been receiving mail under different headings which all appear to be from the same source: Federation of Responsible Citizens. The latest was an envelope appearing to be sliced open with a banner saying "Bills Due: August 8, 2022" which was empty. This came to her mail on August 15th making it look as if she was past due on something which immediately made her upset and confused. The FRC knows exactly what they are doing and that is preying on the elderly who are used to paying their bills. This is reprehensible. The FRC has multiple "projects" for which they are requesting support and the wording of the mailers is all geared toward raising fear in the elderly. They are behind "The American Federation of Senior Citizens" and publish under the title "Political Headquarters 2022."
Call this organizaion and tell them you want your name (or loved one's name) taken off their mailing lists: (703) 259-6470. If enough of us do this, we can have an effect on their scamming.

This company and many government personnel have been contacting my Grandma via mail and sometimes on the phone telling her this is your final warning you will lose your Social Security if you don't send (this amount of money) in the next 4 days. They send her letters saying her and her friends won't get Social Security checks unless they send money.
Her bank has contacted me that in 5 months she sent 64,000 (give or take a bit) to National Campaign to Guarantee Social Security and similar judicial places.

Today I received a letter from National Campaign to Guarantee Social Security, signed by Matt Davies, Chairman. It stated that they have not received my "Confirmation of Receipt" from a previous letter sent to me. I read through it & it does not ring true to me. They claim to be non-political, but in one paragraph reference Barack Obama's failed economic policies (unnecessary words if non-political). The Confirmation Receipt they want returned to them requests a donation of $50 or $100 "annual" committment.
I do believe this is a scam.
The return envelope is addressed to National Campaign to Guarantee Social Security PO Box 97157 Washington DC 20090-7157

The address at the bottom of the letter is 1800 Diagonal Rd, Suite 600, PMB #33, Alexandria, VA 22314 (703-259-6470.
I hope this helps someone.

My 96 year old mother wrote a check for $15.00 when it was processed it became $150.00 she believes some one within the organization altered the check. It was written to The National Campagin to Guarantee Social Security. I have not been able to locate a phone number for this organization to request a refund.

I am receiving the same type of urgent letters from this group. Today, I received a "Petition to the Supreme Court to Protect the Fundamental Rights of American Seniors" sent out by this group & Matt Davies to be signed & sent out with a donation. This is horrible to take advantage of us seniors with these scams!

My elderly Mom has been receiving mail from the above named company asking for money stating in their letters that "they regret to inform you that liberals in the 113th Congress are launching attacks on Social Security". It is signed by a Matt Davies, Chairman .

She has given them the following money by check: July 14, 2014 $1,000. October 16, 2014 $1,000.and on June 5, 2014 $1,000. Another company with the same Arlington, Va. address she sent: October 9, 2014 $1,000.October 13, 2014 $1,000. They use another name: American

Federation of Senior Citizens signed by Wanda Powe, Chairman.

Another Company she has sent money to is: National Retirement Security Task Force, September 15, 2014 $500.and on September 18, 2014 $1,000.They request that she complete a 2014 SOCIAL SECURITY INFORMATION POLL with five days. My Mom lives in Flushing, NY and I live in Fredericksburg, Va., It was only after a visit to her late Sept.2018 when I had to help get rid of an accumulation of mail that was tied up in her kitchen that I discovered these lettters with the donations she has sent thinking they were legitimate. If there is an agency I can report these scamers, and they are many more "charities" she has given to, please let me know. Thank you. Theresa Di Caro, Phone# 201-264-3894, I called the phone# listed on the bottom of their letter and it was an answer service. The person answered they she knows nothing about the company but it's based in Beverly Hills, Ca.
