Monday morning, I received a shipping notification from "Sky Mover Logistic" stating that they had received the puppy for shipping, and it would be flown out that afternoon. Just before noon I received a message from Sky Movers that the puppy was not in the proper crate due to due to weather conditions. That it would need a heated crate. which would run anywhere from $850.00 to $2,250.00 depending on the crate that was chosen. These fees which would be refunded upon pickup at our airport and needed to be paid by Cashapp or Venmo. The puppy could not be shipped until this was paid. I contacted the seller and said I wasn't paying this since the purchase price and inclusive of shipping. Seller stated this shipping fee would be refunded to me at the time of arrival at our airport. I said they should pay. The seller then told me they could come up with half of the fee. If I could send them the rest ($450.00) by western union then Sky Movers would fly puppy out. I received notice that the seller had paid $400.00 to Sky Mover and they sere wait for the balance of the $850.00. I finally agreed to send the $450.00 to the seller, so that the puppy could be shipped. So send the seller $50.00 by Western Union. I then received a message from Sky Movers that the puppy had missed it flight because of the delay in payment of the crate fee.
On Tuesday I received a message that the puppy was ready for shipment, however it did not have health insurance. This would have to be paid for before the puppy could be flown. The costs was $1,098.00 and would be refunded when the puppy was picked up at the airport. I emailed the seller and total them I was not paying anything more. Of course, they stated they could come up with part of the insurance fee. I said no I wasn't paying a dime more. As this wasn't what I agreed to. Thes rest of Tuesday I kept getting messages from the seller and Sky Movers. I stated I was not paying anything more and the seller could pickup the puppy, if there truly was a puppy.
I filed a claim with PayPal and the credit card company and was able to get the $900.00 back, however am still out the $450.00 which I sent for partial payment for the crate fee.
