I made a purchase back in 2020 and forgot how low quality these products are. I was browsing one day and added a travel bag and a pair shoes to my cart. I never purchased these items. A month later I received two packages in the mail with a cheaply made tote bag and two pairs of shoes that smelled of glue. No shipping information no packing slip. They both came from the same warehouse at 5215 S Boyle Ave Vernon, CA 90058. I contacted both USPS and On Trac they had no information as these products, since they were shipped as a third party. I finally found a charge on my credit card and then was able to pull up an email. They had charged me for the bag, which I never purchased and also sent me the shoes in two colors which I also didn't purchase or even have in my cart. I think they used my previous order information and charged me. I contacted them for a refund and was told I would have to ship them to China. Even though the website says:

I placed an order in March and never received it. They do not respond to phone calls, emails or messages. They also did not respond to a complaint I made with the Better Business Bureau. They took my money!

Ordered makeup from them, after 3 months I got it but it was not what I ordered and was GARBAGE! It was broken also, and had a pungent odour to it. Tried to get my money back for a month and they ghosted me! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CROOKS

I ordered makeup from this company and on the 18th of January they text me with a tracking number they said it was shipped but I haven’t gotten it yet I didn’t get an email or anything stating that I paid for the item but I got a text stating that it’s been shipped that’s crazy I need my item or a refund back

After reading all of the reviews, I think I am scammed too. I paid for 3-day shipping and handling and didn't receive anything. I was so excited to receive this item because I am going to. Use it for school arts and projects since I work with kids at school. I thought this would be a big help. I will try to call my bank to get a refund. I wish I read the reviews first. $41.85 gone!

Made a purchase for Christmas gift on November 29, 2020. We received it in the mail December 23, 2020. WAS Not what I ordered AT ALL. We have called them several times and emailed them several times. The voice message is always the same- Sorry we are not open now.

Modern mint is a scam, please do not buy anything from this person. All reviews are face, videos and images are fake, I purchase the excavator machine, was supposed to be about the size of a lawn mower, and received in the mail a month and a half later, a show size dollar store toy that was broken and box was horribly smashed and open!

I purchased the excavator for my boyfriends grandson ,,, absolutely the worst case of false advertising I have ever experienced.I ended up paying 45.00 for quote over the border transport ,, I cld have purchased this item at my local Walmart for less than half the price .no one sld purchase a thing from this company,, like ever !

This web site advertised a radio control excavator for $ 79.95 site shows the excavator digging holes a small child riding on it and 2 grown men carrying it when excavator was delivered it was no bigger then a child’s shoe box the return address on pkg is California but when the email came to return it was a address in China

Ordered the water jet from them, it is a piece of crap. Not at all what they advertised. But it would cost more to ship back to China than I paid. Does not say anywhere on website that returns have to go to China. I am sure all the 5star reviews are fake! Beware

I, too, ordered the automatic pruning shears and all the correspondence (order conformation, order shipped notice, item delivered notice) pictured the correct item. The item delivered was a cheap unidentified pair of hand shears that at 39.95 was advertised at 70% off. They did answer my email telling me that I had ordered the wrong item and there was nothing they could do.

What can be done to put these people in jail for such business practices? It is flat out robbery.

Today 07/24/2020 Trustpilot shows 61 negative messages about Modern Mint. I ordered Automatic shears and received a month later regular hand held metal pruning shears. I was told once I contacted them that I had placed the order for them. Not the Automatic, strange no where on the page were shown the manual ones. To return I would have to pay for the shipment of $64.00 to China and they stated Good Luck. Sent a few messages but they refused to budget to correct. Then I saw the page of so many scams about the company.
