They really almost had me. Get a message from Alona Hillel looks like any other message you would receive for a job interview. She offers to move the conversation to microsoft teams and then proceeds to tell you about the position and the company. We talked for a few minutes before she expressed that I would be perfect for the position. I only realized because as a rule of them I always search up companies before accepting any position and I found all the reports on people who have been scammed by Mobileeye. Another redflag is they never ask for a virtual or phone interview, which is usually the first thing a legitimate employer will do. Thankfully I figured it out before they git more than my phone and email but i hope people keep reporting them before they get more out of people.

I was presented with a job opportunity that seemed too good to be true. They would not speak to me over the phone only over Microsoft teams. I was given benefits documents and an offer letter. I signed both. However once I was asked to provide personal information via email I questioned them why I was not going to receive proper employment documents and the response was that the email was encrypted. I immediately blocked their messages. They have my first and last name but nothing further. They used names that are actual employees of the company.

I am a victim of this same scam for employment with Mobileye. I received a text asking how I was. I didn’t recognize the telephone # so I decided to call it. A gentleman with an African accent answered so I immediately started asking questions since I had been a victim of another employment scam 2 days earlier. He said he was with HR at Mobileye and there was a position as an administrative assistant working from home available. I was to download Microsoft Teams and a woman named Alona Hillel expecting to interview me. I told him that I would download the application but was not ready to be interviewed. He asked me to send her a message that I would be available the next morning at 9:00am. When I searched the company’s website I found the name that he gave me as his to be a woman. Told me he lived in Louisiana and also shared info regarding his personal life. When I found the info on Mobileye’s website about a woman having the same name he gave me I sent him a text the next day and said that it was a scam and he tried to deny it and said can you interview now. It certainly has been a difficult week for me being scammed twice. I have his telephone # and am going to do a search on it. I also wrote to Alona Hillel as she is on LinkedIn to see if I was supposed to interview with her regarding an administrative assistant position. I believe she came up as living in Israel where the company’s headquarters are. I need to follow my heart and try to make as much noise as I can to get these criminals what they deserve. I looked up the name he gave me and a picture of a man (non African) came up as living in New York even though I did see a picture of a woman by the same name on Mobileye’s website Liron Dahan.

I was reached out to by the same person claiming to be in the HR department of Mobileye. Luckily, I found this person’s experience and haven’t gotten to the “onboarding” process. I have blocked and reported the person to teams, I am still looking at my email so I can report that as well, seeing as the only information they have of mine is just my email.

I was first contacted by someone who claimed to be see my resume. Email was from Alona Hillel who claimed to work for Mobileye and was the Human Resources Manager. She asked me to set up Teams and then contact her. I did so, and we talked back and forth about the position and hours. It was for a remote Administrative Data Entry position. This was my first time looking for remote work, so I didn't know that this was even scam. She even sent me a link to the company website. Alona asked me a bunch of questions that seemed like normal interview questions. The next morning I received an email letting me know that I was hired. There was an attachment going over the position that I was asked to date and sign. Then there was a benefits packet that I also needed to sign. Later on I was contacted by Nimrod Brickman who claimed to be my Team leader for Team C. I was told about the position. I remember mentioning a couple of times to Alona and Nimrod that the job seemed too good to be true. Then he said finance said it would be easier to pay off my existing debt on my credit card as well as put the credit on the card for the software and equipment. I couldn't get that to work with the information he needed, so the next idea he had was to email me a copy of a check and I would deposit it into my account. I did this, and now had $4900 in my bank or so I thought. Next was he needed me to Zelle money to his vendor for the software. I attempted but luckily Zelle wouldn't do it. So we tried CashApp, and I attempted to send $1000. Luckily this was flagged and wouldn't go through. Before this however, he wanted me to go buy a Macbook for the software to be downloaded onto. I finally saw the red flags and have since spoken to my bank and corrected everything. However, in the process of all of this, they now have all of my personal information as well as ID. They have everything they need to steal my identity.
