My teenage daughter tried to purchase an MLB hat off this scam website. She told me after the fact, of course, and had already been charged. She told me she had not received a purchase confirmation email, nor any shipment notifications. She did however get an email from PayPal- confirming she made a payment to a private person's PayPal account, under the name Bell Kozey at [email protected] (the drop down box asking for the email above would not let me add this, saying it wasn't a valid email address). This immediately rang scam to me. I went to their website and upon first glance, it looks very much legit. Like a real MLB website, selling MLB merchandise. But I didn't have to dig long before I realized what a scam this was. Scroll down to their "About us" tab at the bottom, and it's just red flag after red flag. The first being, that they constantly refer to themselves as "NBA Jersey Pro"- likely copied and pasted from another of their scam sites. Also, the grammar is embarrassingly poor. There are no personal names or addresses or any business information at all. I reached out to them several times under their "contact us" tab, with the saying I was sending an request to "[email protected]" (also wouldn't let me add that above, saying it was invalid) in hopes that they would either let me know where the order was, or refund the charge- but unsurprisingly, no one responded. I feel terrible that my daughter was ripped off $50 that she worked hard for. I hope she learned a valuable- very sad, but valuable lesson about checking things out before making purchases on random "business" websites with her bank card. Shame on these people for scamming people like this. It truly infuriates me. I'm not sure why the website is still up, as I've seen others make similar complaints.

I will reach out to both PayPal, and my daughters bank in hopes that they can help us get her money back. Hopefully we can somehow.
