My girlfriend couldn't get into her Microsoft account. She called Microsoft, and after speaking to someone from Microsoft, they transferred her to another person. That other person told her that her IP was being tracked and they needed her information to try to get rid of the trackers. She gave up her ID, Credit Card, Debt Card, and bank information. They also tried to take 4,515 via wire transfer. I suspect the person who was working at Microsoft was part of a scam, transferring people to an offsite person to launch this scam.
