Received a check in the mail for $199. Letter stated: "This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at XXXXXX secured by your current lender which is Mellon Bk. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice, Please call immediately as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-888-801-8190.

(I have no dealings with Mellon, so I immediately knew this is a scam There is no address anywhere within the correspondence.) The postage in the corner consists of a printed eagle and indicates US Postage paid permit no. 1535 United States Mail
