A girl reached out via an app called VSCO asking to use one of my photos for an art project. I agreed and she mentioned I would be getting paid $250 for using my photo. I sent her my email address and phone number. I was then sent a cheque for $1500 and it was deposited into my bank account. She then told me to send her $500 via Apple gift card, and I sent it. She then asked for another $150 to be sent however it did not go through. She then sent an email so I could etransfer $200. I sent the etransfer and my bank called me and said the account I was trying to send the money to was blocked. I later then told the girl to call her bank and reverse the cheque as I was no longer sending her anymore money. She refuses and states I must send the money or I will be in trouble.
