The said the original debt amount claimed was $2.736,53. I was given the opportunity to settle before papers were filed in County court and I was told that if they filed the papers, the amount would increase to over $3,000. The settlement amount was $1,915.57. The scammer confirmed my identity by providing the last four digits of my social security number
