I applied for the position, administrative assistant, at Medcomps Corporation on Handshake. They contacted me through an email saying, that they would like to interview me through a text/call app named Wire. They said Tina Hagelstein would be interviewing me and once I did the interview, they said I passed. Which then they asked me to fill out forms including giving away my name, address, phone number, close family contact numbers, and social security number. Then they said that in order for me to continue, I have to pay for materials but to reassure me they gave me a check to reimburse me. I paid them money and deposit the check but a few days later the check was reversed and I ended up losing more money because they lied and said they would reimburse me more money. I tried contacting them but then they didn't reply. Soon after, my school contacted me through an email saying to not reply to the company because it was flagged on Handshake as fraudulent.
