The scammer used another person's identity & their videos and stated that the medbeds had been released to the public. They stated that there were 2 medbed centres in my area & a registration fee was required. They made an initial quote and then, requested more money by stating that they required the payment in US dollars. Then, they pushed me to pay for another family member, which I refused to do. They stated that there were medbeds in a remote area of Canada. This is when I knew I had been scammed. In their initial ad, they had email addresses for a number of countries. I immediately notified PayPal, but they stated that the payments were in process of going through and they would investigate. Their final decision was not to refund the money because I did not click on purchase protection. I did not do so because it stated in the pop-up menu that it was for services. It stated that it was only for products. I later found on the website that it included services. I also notified Mastercard, but they stated the payments were already approved. I made RCMP & FBI claims.
