Was offered a job. Very elaborately executed. Upon being "hired" I was told that I would be sent money to purchase the gear needed to set up a work space.

After sending a photo of my Driver's License and telling that what bank I used (ugh, dumb, I know), they told me I would be texted a check. That's when I had to take a beat to research what turns out to be a scam.

Such a bummer.
