Main Street Web Pros Reports & Reviews (69)

Main Street Web Pros sent a letter via US Postal Service. The letter included an invoice and account number requesting payment for yearly web hosting of my company's web-site. Additional information in the letter indicates "failure to renew your web hosting by the expiration date may result in website outage and a loss of your online identity making it difficult for your customers to reach you on the Web".

This company does not host our web site and is attempting to trick business owners into paying for web hosting.

- Rapid City, SD, USA

A solicitation disguised as an invoice was sent to our business encouraging us to pay $180 or our website domain name would be at risk of being discontinued.

- Williamsburg, VA, USA

This company sent marketing material designed to make it appear they were owed money for services rendered. No services have been rendered and there is no relationship with this company.

- Charleston, SC, USA

Bills for falsly web hosting.

- Kingsport, TN, USA

do not pay bill just because they are sent to you

This is a company that sends out a fake invoice billing you for services. At the very end it states; This is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment.... Make no mistakes, this is a scam! They have nothing but complaints on the ScamPulse.com site which they send an automated response to.

The company listed above sent me a bogus invoice hoping I would not realize it was not my web host. They are claiming I get my website name from them. I do not and I have never done business with them.

We received a letter in the mail at our office that looked like a bill for services rendered. There was a due date, account number, and amount due. It wasn't clear until really reading the document, where it was buried towards the end, that it was a solicitation of business, not an actual bill.

- Piedmont, SC, USA

We received an "invoice" for web hosting from Main Street Web Pros. Luckily, my accounting department thought to ask about it, because it wasn't a vendor in our system. Everything about the letter looks like an invoice. Only if you read the third bullet point down under "messages" do you see that it says "now is the time to transfer your web hosting from your current provider." We have never done business with or heard of, this company before.
