I was contacted by the brand to be an "ambassador" for their company and told me all i had to do was buy something and tag them in a picture once I received it. I bought a shirt on October 3rd 2020, for $31.50 (order #8175) which I have proof of purchase and money deducted from my account. I contacted them about a month ago after not receiving my purchase and was told that there were issues with fulfillment due to covid. Today (4 months after initial purchase) I have contacted their instagram @madewithmelaninco, their email address given and attempted to get a refund on a product I may never receive. I have also inquired about the ownership of the company or where their supposed "charitable donations" go and received no clear answers.

The company Made With Melanin reached out to me via Instagram, offering a brand ambassador deal. Placed an order with the company and my order never shipped, I got in touch with "customer service" and nothing was done. I went on to conduct some research about the company and found that multiple people have been scammed by the company as well. Again my order has yet to come in and I have yet to receive any updates about my package!

This business uses bots to reach out and attempt to recruit brand ambassadors for their business. They offer a discount code and incentives to share their website. The merchandise offered is generic and the prices are highly inflated.. Once an order is placed no tracking is immediately shared. Once tracking is shared the item is overseas and can no longer accurately be tracked. All efforts to receive assistance are met with bot responses about the delays due to COVID 19. They do not offer refunds on items that are requested more than 30 days from placing the order, AND you can't get a refund without returning the items. The items are "still shipping" after 30 days and cannot be located for the last two weeks. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
