My husband and I were searching for Italian Greyhound puppies online. We came across an Ad for Lucia’s Italian Greyhound puppies. I reached out to them via their online contact form and they emailed and texted me the next day. They asked for a deposit right away of $400, and said they would ship the puppy to me for an extra $150 dollars (in addition to the $700 for the puppy). They provided different payment options, all of which I had never heard of. I asked for a video chat to see the facility and meet the puppy and let them know I intended to pick the puppy up in person and pay for it then. I received no further response from them. There were a lot of red flags in the email.
