I picked out a puppy named Jayson. I left my information that was requested and I got an email. They called me and wanted $850.00 to include shipping. I told them that I only had $600.00 to spend. They said they would accept the $600.00 for the puppy. That was shipping also. I sent the money by Zelle. They sent me a tracking number. Then a very badly speaking man called and wanted $1000.00 to ship the puppy. It had to have a special crate to be shipped. I told him no and meant it. He then threatened me with being sued me for puppy abandonment. Of course the money would be paid back to me when I received the puppy. I hung up on him. The people I spoke with offered to pay $500.00 if I could come up with the other $500.00. Trying to assure me that they were honest. I’m 80 and I’m ashamed that I fell for the scam after all these years of living. I did and they contacted me again. I told them the bank was closed.
