When visiting this website, it looks legit and it takes you through an application to renew your license. When you finish putting in your information, the site generates a .pdf application that looks like something you could use at your local dmv. No receipt is provided, just a reference number. They charge $34.95 to process this and it is predatory in the way that they do it because they make no mention on the website anywhere other than the "About US" section, that it's not for a license at all. They do mention that they are privately owned at the top of their page, but everything you do on this sight is misleading, and suggests that they are allowing you to fill out the official application.

If this is a legit company, they really need to do a better job of pointing out the price and the fact that what you are spending that money on does not go towards a renewal. It's also questionable that they charge $34.95 to process information that you enter in yourself. The application that's generated is almost identical to the official application that you would pick up from your local DMV, however, your local DMV (at least mine in Ky) won't accept the application because it is a little different with respect to the questions that are being asked.

The scam is this site makes you hunt for what it's really selling you and since it doesn't give you a price, it's all misleading.
