Just got contacted by these people...they are scammers trying to get access to personal and banking info. They foolishly told me I would be Skype interviewing with a person who just happens to have the same name as my best friend...they obviously hacked me on FB or some other source. Employment scammers are dangerous !

So I uploaded the Wire App on my laptop
Emmy Johnson ended up having to invite me because I couldnt get it to do it. Then we chatted for about 45 min. And he said hold on. Waited about 5 and he told me I was hired and they would be sending me a check to cover for the equipment. Was so excited to have a job told friends and one research and found it was a scam. I was supose to check in at 8 Wed. Through wire.

I just received an interview request from this company. I got to the your hired point and sent them the above description and no answer. So they are a scam and I hope the get caught before they scam others. My person was Emmy Johnson and some unknown text number.. they were very aggressive at the end. She even stated that:
What do you mean this is not a scam because i hate the word scam this is 100% legitimate job online you can trust Mr chan is not working with us i don't know who is Mr Chan i believe he want to spoil the company image because this company did not send a check to any employees.

Kathleen sherard some one call on skypy or text she offer for job don't take she is doing fraud she send you cheque and asking for money back she is totally doing fraud don't take serious offer her job . she says i am From HR office doing some serious fraud so don't take seriously . avoid her call and chat

I too was contacted by Mr. Chan and he told me Mr. Ian Howarth would be contacting me for an interview via Telegram app. I did and he asked me numerous questions including my computer knowledge with accounting programs. He then told me to wait and he would let me know what their hiring manager decide. I was contacted this morning and told a job offer would be coming. I was also told they have a vendor list and a check would be mailed to pay for the equipment needed. I went down to open a new account today so I would not be scammed out of my money but they had me set an appointment for tomorrow. I came home and researched the scams for employment and found this but also found that if you accept any attachments on your computer they would have access to you account. Needless to say, I almost got scammed and I will report this to Edison SpA and the BBB. Be careful!

I received an email first from a Katherine Cannon informing me to please set up a google hangouts account that Mr. Chan would be conducting the interview in this manner. I then had the interview with Mr. Chan. He asked four sets of about 5 questions each. Then he had me wait for about 30 mins at which point he said I was hired. This was all just texting through hangouts. There was no phone call or video chat. It was explained that since I would be working from home that the company would send me a check to purchase the proper equipment and computer programs that I would need. Mr.Chan said he was from KTC Group. I looked this company up and the website seems very legit. I also looked for employee reviews on the company and found some on Indeed.com and glassdor.com. I also was able to find employees on Linkedin website as well. I believe the company exists but these people do not work for them. They sent me a job offer letter on what looked like legit letter head, which I was to sign and email back. I was uneasy with this whole process so I never emailed this back. I didn't want them to have my signature. They also never asked for anything other than my mailing address so they could fed ex the check to me. I received said check via fed ex and called the bank that it was supposedly issued from. That bank said it was in fact an invalid cashiers check and to not cash it. Mr.Chan had said I was to deposit this check and begin purchasing my equipment from his approved vendors list that he was going to send me later that day. The cashier's check was from a bank in Oklahoma but the return address on the fed ex label was for Chicago Illinois. I did attempt to reach the company via email but have not received any response nor have I received a failure to deliver notice in my inbox. This company is based out of Singapore.
