I saw an ad for an item on Instagram which linked to a website product page. The site looked reasonably legitimate to me and they used a payment system that seemed familiar (maybe Shopify or similar), so it didn't immediately raise red flags. After making the order and receiving confirmation, I received absolutely no word on the item for over a month. When I looked around online, I realized that others have reported that this company does not send merchandise that you've paid for, and that they're likely scammers. So I wrote to them and told them they needed to ship the order ASAP or I'd do a chargeback through my bank and report them. The response looked much more obviously to be a scam - no business lettering, just a poorly-worded (poor grammar, broken English) email: "Dear buyer, the goods have landed and are waiting for usps sorting, please wait patiently, the express information before usps sorting remains unchanged, please wait patiently, best wishes." Yeah, definitely a scam (and a week later, still no word.) Please avoid Kobeena.
