Ketosium XS Reports & Reviews (15)

In September 2022, I stupidly did a 7-day free trial for a weight loss supplement that was supposedly endorsed by Oprah Winfrey and other well-known people. However, after further investigation, I learned that the endorsement claim was untrue; and I cancelled my account before the end of the trial period——or at least I thought so. In November 2022, I received a package containing Ketosium products; and I immediately contacted the “company” by email and phone that I had cancelled the account two months earlier and had not authorized purchase of this product. I was informed that the account would be closed immediately and that the charges, specifically four in the amount of $96.95 each, would be refunded to my credit card. I also contacted my credit card company immediately about the situation and submitted a fraud claim; and I had to be provided with a new credit card.

Unfortunately, I recently learned, after checking my most recent credit card statement, that even though the account was closed, the charges applied to my credit card were not refunded; and after speaking to my credit card’s customer service department, I was advised that the fraud claim had been dismissed because “Ketosium had shipped and delivered the product to me.” I once again advised that I had not authorized purchase of the product and that it was a scam company because the company name listed on my credit card statement was completely different from Ketosium; and I once again submitted a fraud claim.

I also attempted to contact “Ketosium” from a telephone number listed on my credit card statement; and I learned that it was a third party contact and I was given a telephone number in order to contact Ketosium directly. I did so but to no avail as I was told that there was nothing that they could do to rectify the situation at this point and that my credit card company would ultimately have to decide if the fraud claim would be approved and the purchase charges removed from my credit card account.

I don’t know if this matter will be resolved in my favor, but it goes without saying that Ketosium is a scam company that everyone should avoid at all costs. If I’m held accountable for these fraudulent charges, I’ll have to pay $401.70 for a supposed free trial from a scam company for a illegitimate product; and there are no words that can adequately express my anger. This has definitely been a learning lesson about dealing with online products because when it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is!

Saw this Ketosium XS Gummies advertised by Oprah Winfrey on Instagram or Facebook, for a free trial, no obligation bottle. You just needed to pay shipping of $6.95. I read thru the disclaimers and terms to verify this was not an auto ship at a higher price deal after the initial trial bottle. No place did it say you paid $96.00/mo. thereafter each month, otherwise I would not have ordered it. I also did not request the Cleanse Detox Formula. The gummies don't look anything like the ad & are covered in sugar. All the gummies are is vinegar. I can buy a $5 bottle of vinegar & take a tablespoon each day for cheaper than this! I want my money back & have reported to my credit card.

I received an email from a company with the web address ketosiumxsdiet saying I had made two purchase for over $96 each. I replied that I had not and they sent an email with a customer service phone number. I called the number and it was a call service that apparently deals with numerous business or at least that is what they said on the phone. I told them I hadn't ordered anything and did not how they had my information. The lady on the phone basically called me a liar. Luckily the charge had not been processed on my card and the credit union was able to take care of that. Now I have the inconvenience of having to wait to receive a new card.

They charged the card 2x in Augst and now 2X in September! I have called to cancel his order in August, and now they have charged me again in Sept. $96.95 x 2. there is no one in charge that you can speak with, no one there speaks so that you can understand them, they are very rude and talk over the top everything you are asking them with gibberish. They direct you to a website that does not exist, and they block your number from one of their servers. If you *67 to hide your number they b;ock that on all their extensions. Do NOT buy from them Deluxebrilliancemegaac (855)231-6138 DELUXEBRILLIANCEQUICKF (885)213-6137 so far it is a different telephone number and company name every month. Do not dall for the scam!

$194.00 a month for $2.00 worth of gummy bears

Please don’t buy from Ketosium XS. They charge whatever card you have on file unauthorized transactions. I am not the only victim. None of us knew we would be charged almost $200 for a 7 day trial that never mention the price

Multiple media sights are advertising Oprah Winfrey Keto Gummies free with a $6.95 shipping and handling charge. After you purchase this bottle of 60 gummies the company charges your credit card another $96.95 within a week. Calls to Optimal Edge Premium Home, which is the text on your credit card next to this charge, are answered and the response is this is a valid charge because the small print on the website says you are agreeing to an ongoing subscription. I cancelled any future orders and cancelled my credit card.

Ordered a 7 day trial of ketosium. When an order is placed it forces two different products into your order. Website states rush shipping. Took 5 days to receive. This allowed 2 days to try the product. On day 8 from the time the order was placed I was charged 96.95 for each product. Today I was charged again for each product. In addition to the email above there is also [email protected]

I saw an ad on Facebook for a free trial of this product. You pay shipping and you can do a free trial. It's FDA approved, natural ingredients, etc. I like to trial products, so I put in my info and complete the order. The page loads to a screen that says complete this order with another product free trial. The button to include it is in the same space on the page and I accidently click it and cannot unclick or unorder. Double the shipping, but there was only one shipment for two products. Two red flags already.

Typically the trial starts once you get the product, right? RIGHT?! It was a 7-day trial that wasn't a 7-day trial. I was charged after 1 day for approximately $193. Why? Because the trial started when you clicked complete order, not when you receive the product. It was actually a one day trial and they got you in the bag if you didn't read the fine print carefully. Another red flag.

So $96 and change for each product because you didn't read the fine print about the basically non-trial function of the "trial". False advertisement right there. Well, if you look online you will find that this product is sold at Walmart and on Amazon for about a quarter to a tenth of the price that this company is charging. FINAL RED FLAG THAT THIS IS A SCAM.

They are preying on people and purposefully overcharging directly through their site because they can. They offered a 30% refund to "resolve" the issue, they offered that pretty quick so I think that this happens often. I doubt people continue the product, likely be cause of the scam they are pulling.

As another person recalled, the website shows lots of people who have taken their Keto XS and Cleanser products and have had amazing results.

But! If you order the product, it looks as though all you have to pay is the shipping and handling cost for the first two bottles of this supplement, about $14.00.

Cool! If the product doesn't work for me, I'm out just a small sum of money.

But, Again!! Read the fine print.

Nowhere does it tell you - UPFRONT that they are going to charge your credit/debit card $96.98 per bottle - if you don't cancel your subscription within SEVEN DAYS!

I was put into an overdraft situation due to the Ketosium folks charging my account - at the 7 day point.

I was completely unaware that I would be charged this rather large sum of money. Who, today, reads all the fine print on a website??? It's usually 50 pages long of lawyer-speak.

I have, through my bank, put in a fraudulent charge complaint. I'll see what becomes of that.

And as the other person wrote - their "customer service" person just went around and around in circles with me. I asked for a manager, they said that they would say the same thing.

I know that in this day of modern technology, someone, somewhere, has the ability to hit a button on a computer and refund my money - a very upset customer. That would real Customer Service.

Read the fine print!!!

Ten days ago (5/18) an ad appeared on my phone for a free sample of a diet pill, Ketosium XS, which was supposed to be endorsed by Shark Tank investors and Dr. Oz. The shipping charge was $6.95. Before I could complete transaction, another screen popped up with another free product with shipping of $6.95. There was no place to reject second offer. Total invoice was $13.90. Received package five days later with no packing slip or invoice. This morning (5/26) I received two e-mails with different order/confirmation numbers from the 5/18 ones for $96.95 each. When I called the number on the bottle (855) 431-7204, I was told the products were free up to seven days and then full charges were applied. The representative told me that was stated on web site and I was now responsible for the $193.90. I complained and she hung up on me. She called me back this afternoon to offer a discount of 50% if I didn't file a complaint; than 25% more on employee discount; than a full refund with no complaint. I refused and told her my credit card company, AARP Scam Alert, and ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker were already involved

The solicitation popped up and stated Ketosium XS can be tried for $6.95 for each product. It gave the impression you could try it for that amount and purchase more if you liked it. The 2 bottles arrived without an invoice which I found strange. Then two weeks later I was charged $193.90. I was not able to locate the website, but found a number on the bottle. I explained there wasn't anything stated regarding a trial period or the ridiculous price. She said it's in the terms and conditions and that the trial started on the purchase date. Even though I wasn't aware of the trial period, I sent an email asking how can you start a trial period on the purchase date? To try a product wouldn't it have to be in yout procession? This is a charge I can't afford and I truly don't understand why they wouldn't refund my money. I searched the internet and found someone else also stated this is a scam. They stated thatthey will tell you it's $6.95 and then will charge you $96.95. I thought I was being careful and had read everything. This was a true ripoff and should not continue. There should be laws stating everything should be visible not hidden in terms and conditions. Terms and conditions I still haven't been able to read, because I can't find their website.

I was charged twice for 96.95 each and I called the company to help me with a refund and the first time I called they gave me a 30% refund but I decided to call again after I was reading about the recent scam posts here on BBB, and after being on the phone forever with their customer support I was finally able to get the 75% refund. Lesson learned, never trust anyone online. There are so many scammers out there and its so sad people are this cruel and will steal from anybody no matter what. Be smart when you’re online shopping and be careful of shady scammers!

This is a Keto supplement company that runs ads on your phone. You can sign up to receive a "free" supplement and then several weeks later they say you have a subscription and charge nearly $100 for one bottle. There is no place on the phone ad that this was stated. When contacted they say they can make a deal and only charge you 40% of the fee and then after talking to their "manager" they say they will take off 75% of the fee. This is a scam and this company is NOT to be trusted. Ketosium XS is NOT reputable.

Through the ad, you don't realize that they give you "14 days" to cancel or they will charge you. It was :$6" shipping for a "FREE" sample. Yet, it's not actually a sample, but that's not explained to you. Your sample TIME is 14 days and then they charge you whether you authorize it or not. I had to find a number on the product bottle. I called they refused to refund anything at first. I hung up and called back. I argued it had been 11 business days, but they charged me anyway. I told them they did not have my permission, they wouldn't refund me. I asked to speak with a manager and was told, "my manager doesn't take calls". I asked to have them call me back, and apparently the manager, doesn't "make calls" either. I finally got a person to give me 1/2 my money back, but they NEVER had my permission to charge me in the first place.
