Facebook marketplace scam. $20,000 RV for sale on Marketplace. Was told to contact the above email as he was selling it for his neighbour. Googled the address and was directed to this website. Thanks, saved me a lot of time!

I also communicated with this same person. Responded to an add from Facebook Market Place, was told the person listed that add was a neighbour to contact the person selling at the above email. I did and got the song and dance that her and her husband separated, she had two kids and moved away to her parents to start fresh, she was a nurse and obtained the item she was selling in the divorce agreement (the email was very long stating lots of personal situation (no relevance). The item was worth $30,000. I was to send the money to the company holding the item and they would ship it, she would not get the money from the company until we confirmed the item was okay upon delivery, if it was not the money would be sent back to us. I knew at this point it was a scam, the company is listed on a google search. I responded that the item is listed in a town 20 minutes from me would like to see it. Response said the above was the process and proceed. I have reported to Facebook Marketplace this is a scam. I have emailed back advising good try, they did not succeed with getting my money.

I’m looking for a car, I requested more photos and I was given the photos along with a sob story about her husband dying and she don’t need the car. She moved outside of Ontario and would bring the car to me by someone. But I live in mid Ontario and over 4 hours from the car. Oh that’s no problem the car will come to me. I had to have cash and meet at the licensing office and change it over. I told them about my son and grandson in my truck when it was in a bad crash. They ignored my statement any normal person would say I hope they are ok but no I got a cookie cutter response repeating her husband died… that’s when I knew for sure it is a scam! I still have the emails. When I went to add her Kayla Bumpter email address this one appeared. [email protected] I don’t know who that is.
