Advertised as a $1700 ring on clearance price

Mother's day special from Kay jewelers outlet store. Advertised as $1700 ring. Usually on an online order I'd have emails but received none. Luckily I took a screen shot right after purchase and tracked my order. It came from China I believe.
My wife loved it when she received it because it looked real and also came in a Kay jewelers box. Here we are maybe 3 weeks later and it is turning her finger green also missing 2 stones.

I know the price was too good to be true and should have went with my instincts but Kay jewelers in my experience can be trusted. Very embarrassing to get something nice for someone you care for and their finger starts turning green.

This “company“ advertised itself as an outlet store for K jewelers. They had ridiculously low priced jewelry and that should’ve been the first red flag. I cannot find the website anymore online and I do not have any number to contact them on other than a phone number that texted me saying that my order was on its way but to give them time due to Covid to send it. I cannot find a way to refund my money, so now I have to go through my bank and report the transaction as fraudulent.

Same thing happend to me, looked just like a kay jewelers website. It was called kay.valentinesoutlets.com. I thought it might have been possible due to low prices on valentines. They did send me a ring, but it was not the one I ordered. Claimed they were out of stock so I asked for a refund or exchange. Then the website disappeared. Kept telling me they have issues with PayPal and I have to wait. Its been 2 or 3 months now. Never got my money back. I lost $58.90.
The contact they gave me was an email address, wasn't even relevant to the site. [email protected].

I see Kay jewelers outlet ads every on fb and internet. The prices are super low for the beautiful jewelry they advertise. I found this trying to find out if they are scams. Apparently so. I ran into this with a boot company. With them the more you buy the more discount you get. Been 5 months. They last said they'd refund me, but hasn't happened. Guess if to good to be true don't spend your money.
