Italian Greyhound DOG BREEDER SCAMMER

I went online to look for a new IG puppy and came across Just Italian Greyhound Home and saw the cutest puppy that I wanted to buy. Everything on the website looks legit but a little too good to be true but thought I would send an email inquiry. Once I sent the inquiry, I was smart enough to do my research online for several hours and came across scampulse listed on the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation website. So I checked into this "Breeder" and found a similar name and saw exactly what I had experienced. I called the Breeder, got a generic voicemail then received a call back from "Angela" who asked to be called "Angie". She sounded very old and Russian and there was a weird delay on the phone line. I started by asking about the puppy I liked and she told me the same things that she wrote in the email reply. Once I started asking questions like, " Are you the actual breeder or do you sell them as a middleman", she said she is the breeder for 14 years. FIRST RED FLAG. Their website says they have been breeding for 12 years but she said 14. Then I saw that they said, "We source only from professional, USDA licensed and inspected Italian Greyhound breeders" but if you ARE a breeder, why are you "Sourcing" puppies? Then all of the puppies are clearly from different litters which is obvious based on their colorings. Once I started asking "What do you do for a living" (since it says on their website that she is a flight attendant) she started stuttering saying she was one. Then the BIG RED FLAG...I asked her if she was affiliated with any other kennels because I was looking at "Integrity Italian Greyhound Kennels" website and conveniently, all of the information on that website was the same as on Just Italian Greyhounds Home website. Like VERBAITIM and copied word for word. And big shock, Angie hung up on me. I tried calling back 8 times and no answer. I left vm's and even sent another email saying we got "Disconnected" but no call back. Then the RINGER...I get a generic email saying, "Thank you for wanting to adopt the puppy, we take payments of "Zelle, Walmart and CVS Pharmacy". ARE YOU SERIOUS? I have always done bank wire transfers and this look's shady as heck. The email didn't even reply to what I had asked or spoke about. It was a fake reply email. I asked her to call me so we can discuss the puppy since we were "Disconnected" but no call back or reply. Then she said the shipping fees were only $100.00 which is in itself not possible. I am not sure how many people she has scammed in the past, but I am not going to be one of them. I am disappointed to be honest cause the one Iggy I really wanted was this one but who knows if it was even a real puppy at all?! I suggest doing your Breeder research as I did and it saved me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars that would have been exchanged and no puppy received just as the other references described. Then I finally get a call back from this "Angie" and I asked her "What is the Dam and Sires names since they are "AKC Registered" and she hung up on me again! Oh lets also not leave out that when I asked how many generations this puppy dates back to, she said 2. TWO! In order to be considered a "Purebred" by AKC standards, you must be five generations. Please be aware of scammers before you send your money to a shady breeder.
