I received a phone call stating I will be served a summons and arrested if I do not pay a debt within 15 minutes. When I called back to ask about other payment arrangements, the male gave me until the end of the business day to come up with the money. He called back twice before I had a chance to call him back. Since I never received the mail he claimed the company sent, I asked him for proof. He emailed me a document with the company's address as a courthouse in Los Angeles. There is a sheriff department located in the same building. I called to verify if the law firm existed and the deputy confirmed that no law firms were located in the courthouse and they have received multiple calls from out of state people with similar stories of threats and fraud.
