I was approached via text about a job with IPCA Laboratories Ltd. They stated that they had received my resume from LinkedIn and that I had passed the initial review process for their open position. The position was for a data analyst, and the pay was $35 an hour. I was given a Microsoft Teams address and a code to enter to secure my interview. After using the code, the "HR manager" gave me a general link to the genuine company's website and a background overview of who they were and what they do. Then, she gave me the details of the position they were hiring for. Afterwards, she asked me questions as part of the first-round interview process. I was then told that they would score my responses and get back to me at a scheduled time to "follow-up" the next day. At this time, I researched the company and the scams that were related to it online and came across the ScamPulse.com post and noticed that the details shared were the same as mine. I followed up this morning to see if they offered the same information the prior poster received. I challenged the "HR Manager" when they asked me for my details: name, address, and phone number. I was told that my resume formatting did not match their system. When I queried why they were using a g-mail account for business, which is, after all, a global corporation, I was told that their system was undergoing maintenance and that I would be provided my login code and information in one week. It was at this point that I shut it down and did not continue to the part where they asked me for my banking information.

I tried to contact the company directly to inform them of the scam and that someone was trading on their outstanding reputation, but all of my attempts to locate a viable email address were unsuccessful.
