Tried to get a loan for Christmas for my 2 kids and my boyfriends 5 kids instead I wake up on jan 1st to negative 267 in my account I had 3 so 270 for a loan I never got

I received a call from Insight Capital today asking me to contact a friend on their behalf as they couldn't reach them. I played along and said yes I would. I promptly called my friend and talked to them about this. Now I know that my friend had asked my permission to be a work reference for a personal loan, which I had no problem with doing for them. What concerns me is the fact that this company has called me and has asked me to do their dirty work for them. How did they know to call me in the first place? When I spoke with my friend, they had no idea why this company would be trying to contact them. I would run far and fast away from this scam artist.

2/6/17 Received a Phone Call from Dennis Knight at Insight Capital LLC stating that I have an outstanding payday loan from 4/2012 for $300.00 and with interest and penalties is now $430.00. He had all of my personal information a previous employer, and other items. He stated that I would be served a summons if I didn't pay the debt today and offered a reduced amount of $365.50. I played along and was connected to Sandra Brown there was a lot of background noise during this conversation. She demanded that I give her my credit card info and when I said I didn't have one and I would have to do a money order she got angry and said .."what do you mean I have 4 cards listed here that you can use..... at this time I asked to see the original documents and was promptly put on hold, no one ever came back on the phone.

I received a call from Insight Capital LLC stating that they were calling on behalf of Twin Bluff Financial. They stated that I owed them $1640.00 for a payday loan that I supposedly received back in 2010. They stated that I have 2 options either pay $1640.00 today OR go to court and pay a minimum of $3640.00. They stated that the amount could easily be doubled or tripled depending on the judge. I stated that I have received several calls from different companies who all state that they represent Twin Bluff. I have asked several times for information to be sent in writing and everyone has failed to do so. He verified my address and last four of my social. I advised that since they have the court info that he should have my complete social. He stated that he could not give me the remaining digits of my social. He stated that there are 2 charges against me 1. Theft by deception and 2. Defrauding a financial institution. I asked was the call recorded, he stated yes. I politely told him that he can record the fact that I am not paying him a dime because I didn't take a loan out. I advised that I will see the company in court. I told him that I was reporting the company to the BBB. He states that they checked with my local county clerk to see if I had filed a claim against this company. Who does that? What would make you check to see if I have already filed a claim against you if you are a legitimate company?

Call ca me from a (985) 200-5747 number. Left call back of (844) 480-7638, along with a case file number stating they were investigating the whereabouts of my husband in order to serve a summons for court. When we called back they claimed it was from a loan done on online in 2012. We questioned what bank routing number, account number. We were given a valid routing number to some other bank. Could not verify account number. Person claimed it was a website named insight capital, loan company was named riverside loan. They wanted us to pay right then to take care of the matter. When we asked for paper proof of this loan, person said they could not provide proof because all proof had already been mailed to address on file. Address on file was 3 addresses from 7-10 years ago.
