I received a fraudulent email about a purchase I never made. When I called the number, a man with an Indian accident picked up and it was a clear this a scam.

Official letter with a cafe logo said I was charged $495.99 for 3 years protection and a n 800 number to call to cancel. I called and was told they would send me the cancellation. They then said I needed to download an app to get the cancellation form. It wouldn’t download and they kept trying to get me to do things that didn’t make sense so I asked to speak with a supervisor. I asked why they couldn’t email it and they said it had to come from this app. I asked how they could prove they were mcafee and wanted their address. He said Washington DC. He then said “do you want my home address too?” I said no from that response I can tel you’re not a real company good bye.” And I hung up. I attempted to attach the file of the letter to this.
