I got a call from the "Rogers service department" asking if I'm having trouble with my internet today. I said yes but the call wasn't then disconnected. The scammer attempted to get me to click and give more information but before I continued the conversation I told him I knew it was a scam and he hung up.

Supposedly “Bank of America” called the home phone number and said they had noticed some potentially fraudulent charges and were referring/transferring Sandy to Experian. The “Experian rep” said that (may have said) that there were potential charges and/or an amount due of $7300 on the CitiBank/Sears card. They also said that there were potential $3K something on the Chase(?) card. Then they were transferred to “Financial Solutions” and the representative identified herself as Janice Davis. When I mentioned that it was very difficult to hear, Janice then began texting me on my cellphone and basically coached me to give the exact answers on the phone that were “needed”, which were the exact answers that I should not have been giving and that I gave before thinking, such as the first 3 digits of one or more of our cc numbers. They were saying that these credit card companies were charging too much interest and it was against the law so they were going to call back tomorrow at 9:30am so that could take legal fees to help from “Freedom Debt Relief Solutions”. Then the call was ended saying they would call tomorrow.

The company advertised through Instagram with the name of a reputable store which was closing locations in Canada. The ads claimed a 70% clearance sale on all items. I purchased 16 items including cutlery, dishes, lawn furniture, lighting and shelving at the 70% discount advertised rate. All prices were listed in USD. The company provided a confirmation email of the purchase and listed an email address for questions or tracking of a shipment. The shipment was to be sent through FedEx. Both the FedEx and the Bed Bath & Beyond logo was used on the website, and in the confirmation email. However after trying to contact the company through the website listed, I received an error that the email address doesn't exist, and when I tried to find the website, it no longer existed. I have since seen comments from others who have the same experience with this company through the posts on Instagram.

The following job was advertised on Indeed and Government website, Marketing Manager, Crestview Children's Centre, Bedford, NS It was a fake job, they interviewed me via Zoom, didn't have their camera on and spoke in a very thick Chinese ascent. The email address was made up as the real email for Creditview is an outlook account, they used a Gmail. They recored me whilst I was interviewed.

Email claimed that I had changed my personal email and account information. When I called the number they claimed to say the email wasn’t sent from Kohl’s and tried to collect personal information for me to check my account. I gave them just name and phone number, but they asked for last 4 of social security number. I hung up at that point. I think they were impersonating Kohls.

They created a fake purolator web site and are using it to steal from peoples amazon packages.

Trying to contact Google, I tried to find a way to get in-touch with a person via phone or chat. When searching Google, I searched "talk to a live person at google." A number of these websites came up near the top of the list. They are not valid, but spoofs on Google.

I believe these all are phishing or spoofed webpages, but how do I contact Google to get rid of this website. I even called both numbers on this website (and eventually got a live voice with a non-USA accent). First I called 1-866-2-Google (1-866-246-6453) and explained my question. When I talked to him long enough, he got impatient on the end of the line and hung up. Never identifying himself as from Google. I then called the second number 1-888-570-1575 and again eventually a similar non-USA accent male answered. In the course of conversation, he said it would cost $180 to fix the issue. Oh really...?? I asked where he was located, and he said "California." When I asked further, "where in California?" just after that he disconnected the line... So ultimately these are scams. And they tried to scam me. I am completely assuming, but if I had to guess these people had an Indian accent.

When you look a the list of the websites, after view/ Google has 3 o's and person has 2 n's). It doesn't have a Google symbol in the web browser, but instead a Blue and White T type of symbol... This is consistent on all of the websites above.

Is there a way to forward questionable spoofed websites to Google? That's why I'm submitting this to the BBB.

I found job posting on Indeed.

I applied job position as a web developer and they contacted me after 1 month from job applied.

First email was,

"Thank you for applying for the position of a WEB

I did not realize that is fraud. I clicked website for online job interview and answer 16 question. They didn't ask me about SIN or Bank account. These question was normal screening interview questions like, "What is your strength, weakness? What do you want to be in 5 years? etc" But at the same time, they asked me "name, email, address, phone number, date of birth".

Next day, I did receive email from them in the early morning,

"Hello,

Your phone interview is scheduled between the hours of 12:00pm to

2:00pm (PDT) today 1st September, 2022.

At the point, I felt weird because most of company is asking me time for interview is convenient for me or not. And time is not specific.

And also I receive an email from Indeed, which said I might getting scam from scammer who introduce themselves BLUE OCEAN.

I found out that is scam and I found the report on this ScamPulse.com website which is exactly same situation as me.

I did not lose money but I lost my personal information.

I write this scam report for the people who gets same situation as me.
