The scammer was supposed to put on a market for artists to display their wares. They posted promoting these markets from a now deleted instagram account @thehuemarketplace_pdx. They posted applications for multiple markets in Portland, OR and collected table fees for each starting at $85. Each artist and businessperson invested time and money into these events to "sell" their wares, when in reality, they showed up at the venue and the event had been cancelled without any notice to the vendor. When these issues were brought up to the company, they blamed the vendors or the venues themselves. I personally lost money from the entry fee of $85 and then an additional $100 from preparing product to sell for this fraudulent event.

Hello, I've worked with the HUE Marketplace for a while now and I must say that GA and must say that the owners definitely put a lot of effort putting on these markets. The pay their employees including social media management. I did hear about what happened in Portland and it seems more of the venues fault as they did not announce the cancellation either.
