Colin Maxwell charged me $850 to reprint an already printed book. On the claim his company was a literary agent. Colin went on to say my book had been picked up by a major publisher and I needed to pay $1500 to start the licensing process. After months of [censored] Collin Maxwell not returning my call he claimed to to have gotten Covid. Then made the claim a second major publisher picked up my book. Got an additional $1500 dollars. My book has been for sale on Amazon for over a year and haven't received a dime. To haven't hears from either major publisher or master scam artist Collin Maxwell. Victim Rich Ham

Children book- publication. Chris Davis called and wanted to distribute my children book in order to present the book to an interested well known book publishing company. I paid $1,500 for the printing costs of my book which continued from January 2021 until November, 2021. I never received a copy of the book even after they set up my own publishing company to publish the book. I finally received word from Chris Davis that Harper Collins would be calling me for a contract. When I received the call, I was informed I needed to pay for the initial transfer of the book to Harper that would be $10,000. I told Mr. Davis I could not provide the money and he wanted to know how much money I could afford. I received a pay pal request for 10,000 which I did not respond to, but I had to call PayPal to make sure the transaction was truly cancelled. I received many calls from Ms. Davis in the following days, but when I asked for a copy of my book, my dealings with Chris Davis ended. A writer's dream for success taken advantage of by Chris Davis and Horizon Literary.
