This person who called from 703-827-7040 was Phishing for personal information stating they intercepted a package at an old address of mine and they stated there was Oxycontin and $94,000 in the package. When they started digging further I told them I think they were fraud and they threatened to send the information to the local sheriff's department and a warrant is out for my arrest.

They called me saying there was a package intercepted with my name. Used the aliases of Homeland Security, DEA, etc. Gave badge numbers and fake documents.

I received a call on my cell phone at 12:42pm On Sept.5, 2024 from " Homeland security". [386-XXX-XXXX] She asked if this was my name, and I answered who is calling? She said "This is agent NAME with Homeland Security. DHS2722. Is this you? I said no. Her- You are lying to a federal agent. Me- I don't believe you, this is a scam. Her- It's not my job to make you believe me. This is serious. are you expecting a package? Me- No. Her-your name is associated with illegal drugs coming into the port of Miami and other international ports. [she named several ports}. This is our case number, 2024FLUS01130. She made me repeat the info given. Do you recognize any of these addresses? [all in Florida] She listed three I knew but said no. Her- Do you have friends or family in Florida? I do but said no. Her- Do you know anyone who might have a grudge against you? Me- No.Do you recognize this address? it was mine , i said it is my home address.Her- do you recognize these bank accounts? She listed several I am active with. I said "some". She told me all the violations I was facing for drug trafficking and what jail time I could serve. I finally said "I'm ending this call, I believe this to be a scam. she kept talking ,so I repeated myself and hung up. I can't believe I even answered the call in the first place , or talked as long as I did. Lesson Learned. I looked up the name she gave me, Lynda Noel.[She spelled it out for me} It came up on LinkedIn as a federal agent for Homeland security! The picture showed a professional black woman, the phone voice was asian.

You probably learned after that this wasn’t a scam. She wasn’t phishing, she had all the info. I’m wondering what happened after. You must have been contacted some time thereafter.

I got a phone call stating I was being investigated by homeland security and I needed 2 Lawyers to get out what’s going on so not thinking scared to death just work with them until something in my spirit was not at easy so I stop communicating and sign a complaint with FCT and also reported the fraud whatever you do please stay safe it’s not a good feeling

I keep receiving calls from Robert Anderson w/Homeland Security and I'm getting second prize, $15 million because I was screwed by the government. Someone is coming here to deliver a car, and take me to the bank. He wants me to buy $300 in Vanilla gift cards from Family Dollar or Walgreens if it would be more convenient. He knows more name and address. He has an accent, but I couldn't place it.

Someone sent me a fraud check and now I’m getting a text from this number saying they are a Homeland security agent and if I don’t cashapp then $200 I will be arrested and prosecuted

this Lorry Wood said he fly all the way from Ghana, UK to Ottawa than Vancouver for delivery after deliver men failed to deliver,

they said they are being caught by CIU, INTERPOL, He Lorry Wood work under Donald Trump (his right hand man) and Trump communicated with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to put Justin private Tag so they can deliver, then he said Justin Trudeau need me to pay 500$ tax before deliver. I had not pay up so he say he is still in Vancouver, BC ready to deliver after pay up, then he return to UK.

I got a call from Homeland Security, caller ID read 619-758-4886. I was told to call 619-739-4665. I did, it was answered Social Security. I spoke to a man and a woman, both from India. He wanted my "account" information, and asked how many "accounts" I had. Then he wanted my social security number.

I got a call from Norman Green at Homeland Security, saying they were suspending my ss number as someone was using my ss number for illegal activities. He works for SS in TX. He asked for my bank name and whether I had checking or savings, and their balances. He had my SS number. I hung up.

Consumer got a text message stating it was Frank *** with Homeland Security. The consumer was to make 2 $75.00 in order for them to release $456,000.00. These payments need to be made this week.

He (Maxwell Weaver) claimed to be working for a company that's a type of clearinghouse for sweepstakes. $1,250,000 dollars. All I had to do is go to the post office buy a money order for $1250, and send it to a CPA (Marcelene Ling) overnight in Oregon with a tracking number and signature required receipt. A certified driver (Peter Murphy) was to deliver three envelopes the next day, Prize money and information to fill out to the IRS. He gave me an address and phone number to contact CPA. I called the phone number (CPA), turned out to be an alternate phone number for the business he was at.

The guy had to talk to me. Said there was a package at the Los Angeles airport at the homeland security room. Because it was flagged because it needs a background check. And to get the background check he wanted $ 975.00. The package was a check for $ 750,000.00 as to why the back ground check was so high. they send these out of the homeland Security based out of the airport. The address was from a Fulfillment Center in Las Vegas NV. ..from what he said. Sorry I did not get a badge number or a name.

Thing is we got cut off on phone number and I called him back and the call was from LAX Airport and I pushed number 6 and I was able to talk to him and at first well ma am you need a badge number or a name for the guy you talked to and I said I cut off. Caller states "This is Joe from Homeland Security calling on a recorded line. Can you hear me OK. Tries to get you to say "yes" Have received a call each weekday for about 2 weeks. I just hang up on him.
