Received a FINAL NOTICE letter, stating that my home warranty was soon to expire. Also stated that my property, address listed is my PO Box, is secured by Taylor Bean & Whitaker Mortgag (s). Letter states that I should call immediately in order to activate my home warranty. Threatening language indicates that, if I do not call, I will be liable for any home repairs. No part of this letter applies to me or my property. This is a scam to scare homeowners into calling. My research shows that Taylor Bean and Whitaker Mortgage was sued for fraud in 2009 and is currently out of business. A person identified as Wade Grant is listed as the Program Director. Obviously, this letter is nothing more than an attempt to sell home warranty insurance using fraudulent tactics.
