Daniel from DLR Contracting agreed to remove two trees from my property for a total of $3,000 CAD. As per our agreement, he would receive 50% upfront ($1,500) on the first day and the remaining amount upon completion. He arrived on the first day, started cutting the smaller tree, and then left partway through claiming his son was sick. Since then, he has not returned, is not answering calls, and has blocked me on both phone and Facebook. No work was completed beyond a partial cut, and I have received no refund or further communication.
