Looking to purchase a puppy and stumbled onto the website hillsidepetshome.com. Sent and inquiry for a female mini-dachshund (they have lots of different breeds) and received an email back from a "Nick Sherwood" from email [email protected] but the inquiry went to [email protected]. I didn't see the gmail address until after the fact as I thought I was communicating with Nick at the admin email. The initial email was asking questions to determine if a puppy would be well taken care of and suitable environment. The puppy was listed for$650 (50% off original) which doesn't seem unlikely for an AKC registered puppy but was wanting an additional $100-150 for shipping...I told them that was more than I wanted to spend so they included the shipping in sale of the puppy. Was asked to send money via CashApp to $misshowie1 (Suzette Howard) and once payment was confirmed they would proceed. I was having issues using the cash app so they requested to send via Zelle...didn't think anything of this since I have used Zelle for other purchases (but in person transactions) and sent to [email protected] (Achille Kali). After the money was sent later in the day I received an email with tracking to website Express Movers https://www.express-mover.com/track-your-pet.php and this also appears to be fraudulent as a means to cover up initial fraud. Not sure if they are related or not but this also does't appear to be a legit business.

I thought I was purchasing a Yorkshire Terrier Puppy. Was told she was $750.00, which included shipping and delivery. I paid my money, they said they sent the puppy to the shipper, who then told me it would be another $1000 - $2000 for an air conditioned / heat create. The website stated the create was included. They told me they were turning me over to the authorities for animal cruelty for not buying the create and would not ship her to me.
