Type of a scam Online Purchase
This was a 2014 New Holland Boomer 3045, listed for $14,400. They state that they can ship any where in the USA and Canada. I emailed them asking how much it would be to ship to my zip code and was quoted $2,400. I asked how it would be shipped and they told me that they have their own Logistics Division and that after payment that they would ship with in 5 - 6 days. They want a bank wire transfer of funds with a 10% discount and shipping my total would be $15,360. I asked about using a Credit Card and they say that they ONLY want bank transfer, they asked for the following information for an invoice.
To start the sale process we'll need the following details:
- Units to be purchased; Stock ID
- Buyer's Full Name
- Buyer's Full Address
- Delivery Address
- Buyer's Phone Number
- Buyer's Photo ID copy
I have the entire email thread. I did not provide them with any information. The more questions I had the sketchier they got.
