postponing the refund and after 2 months rejecting any refund

I ordered 5 buckets of roof coating from Hearthshire but got 4 good and one expired, hardened, not liquid, dried not usable. I asked for a refund, but they stalled, repeated the same questions. I sent them the item’s images and after a month they were asking to send the images again.
They sent me a return label after approving a return but I did not consent to paying for the shipping. After that they asked me how I want to get the money back so I replied and I was expecting the money. But I did not get it. When I asked why, they claimed it was too late to get money back.

Bait and Switch

Purchased items on Amazon from Hearthshire. Received the wrong item. Contacted Hearthshire to arrange a return. I was instructed to return the items, at my expense, to an address Hearthshire provided. Amazon apparently plays no role in this return, and I have no guarantee of a refund on the merchandise, much less the cost of shipping it back to Heartshire. For some strange reason, I find it difficult to trust these instructions, and Hearthshire's instructions.

Amazon "A-Z Guarantee" is worthless. Amazon refers me to a page that gives me instructions to contact Hearthshire for a return.

Amazon does not allow reviews of this Amazon seller, so I cannot warn other Amazon Marketplace customers of Heartshire's bait/switch tactics, return policies, and poor customer service.

Don't know if anyone will ever see this, but I recommend avoiding Hearthshire.

Seller uses Amazon.com as a platform to sell products. The consumer purchases a product from Hearthshire whereby they send an email to consumer with a tracking number for Federal Express. Said courier states that they received package for delivery but they never delivered it. No telephone number exists for contacting the seller. Only "Virtual Assistant" is available from FedEx which does not have access to any updated information; six days pass and no communication from them. Amazon.com suggested that another order be placed for the same product by the consumer.
