He's in Griffin, GA now and has a partner

"Bill" with cell # 770-527-0740...matching description in original complaint above...drove up to our front door with same offer. I declined. A week later, a partner drove up, honked the horn until I came out, with same offer. Again...declined.
Beware of these flashy conmen snakes.

Almost got me too!!

He's in Senoia, Georgia now!
A guy approx. 6 foot, stocky build, black hair and dark tan skin, in a single cab white truck flew up my driveway and honked the horn. I went outside and he got out and started giving me the same spiel as above. He was doing work in the area, would have 2 truck loads leftover and would fix my driveway for $4 a foot instead of the normal rate of $9 a foot. He was such a fast talker, wouldn't let me get a word in, and if I asked for a quote he would ignore my question or say he couldn't give an exact price until they started the work, etc. He was very pushy about the fact that it had to be done today and it would need to be done in the next couple of hours. I asked for a business card, which he wouldn't give me but he did give me his number, which is how I found this site about his scams! Crazy. I reported him to the Coweta County Sheriff's Office.

Almost got us!

Man in orange worker's shirt in a yellow/orage GMC 2500 pickup with a round emblem on side saying Road Builders Construction 800-208-4306 then underneath Road Maintenance State Lic. 5-16-7895. It looked like a city truck. He said he was doing a job nearby and had 4 extra trucks of hot asphalt that he was needing to use. Gave us a 1/2 off "deal" of $4 a foot. Only after he left did we realize it was per square foot and not per linear foot. (our driveway is almost 400 feet long. It would have cost us over $15,000 had he done it. He was careful not to give us a price at all but kept saying he had to use the entire truckload no matter how much was in there. Also, a VERY fast talker. Said it had to be done today! We are in TN, not far from Nashville. My husband got a red flag feeling from the guy now wanting to give us an exact price and from him being in such a hurry for us to agree. I called the sheriff's office to report the incident after we told the guy not to come back.
