Hello,

I’m reaching out to report a fraudulent purchase that I made through a link I found on TikTok. It was for backpacks supposedly sold by “Sprayground.” I placed the order for my children but never received a confirmation email or the items. I have not been able to contact the seller, and I now believe the website was a scam.

This was my first time shopping online, and I was unaware of the risk. I would like to request a chargeback or a dispute investigation for this transaction. Here are the details I have:
• Date of transaction: 07/7/2025
• Amount charged: $41.22, $39.49, $60.41
• Payment method used: Debit card First Convenience Bank.
• What I ordered: Sprayground backpacks (children’s)
• What happened: I never received the items or any order updates.

Please let me know what steps I need to take next. I’d appreciate any help in resolving this.

During Black Friday, I was attempting to purchase goods online for Christmas presents from the reputable UK company, Gymshark. Somehow in the online ordering of products, the website must have diverted to a Chinese-based company with the only identifying information as sproutsonline.com. My goods were purchased through PayPal as a vendor, and when I realized the goods were fraudulent, I asked them to mediate, cancel the order, and issue a refund. Sadly, PayPal has not been a consumer advocate. I have been charged $280 for counterfeit goods from China that arrived 2 months later despite multiple emails to the PayPal "Resolution Center". It appears that PayPal resolves issues by profiting fraudulent companies at the expense of the American online consumer.
