Guaranteed Funding Reports & Reviews (1)

Thomas Montgomery and his brother Aristotle claim to be recipients of a large SBA grant which is for the purpose of getting funding for start up businesses. They guarantee a minimum of $100,000 capital raise. They “hire” people as state directors and small business consultants either as independent contractors or W2 employees. If you sign up as a Small Business Consultant you are told that there is a $10,000 licensing fee which is waived as long as you produce 2 loan leads a week. A family member signed up to get a loan from these guys and there was an upfront cost for one of the products of this loan, which was $2500. They said he could finance it in-house for $100 a month over 12 months At 0% interest(1250 of that was a small business consultant‘s commission). He gave the company his banking information so that they could withdraw the monthly payments. The company begin withdrawing $100 per day over the next four days. When my family member protested they tried to tell him that he didn’t properly understand the payment terms. He had to drive to the bank and get his debit card changed so that the payments would stop being withdrawn. The person who helped him with that just happened to have had other complaints about the same company. He advised my family member to contact the police in the state where the crime was committed. The difficulty is this company is in Texas and they were taking money from the bank in Utah while my family member was in Colorado. So my family member is contacting the authorities from all three states. After the company realize there would be no more with drawls from my family members account, they sent him an email warning him of the declined charge. I had signed on as a state Director and was required as part of that to sign up as a small business consultant with a the same production requirements or have to pay a $10,000 license fee. As a result of what happened to my family member I have stepped all activities with this company and warned everyone that I had brought in as a lead about this scam. Thomas is now sending me emails reminding me about my commitment to produce two funding leads per week or have to pay the $10,000. I don’t know how far they’ll go to try to scare me into paying, but I’m not paying. I am making this report as a preliminary to contacting the authorities.
Keeps repeating “no upfront cost”
