Like many subscribers to Grindr, after they accepted my payment I was subsequently locked out of the app. I have requested a password reset 40 times and sent more than two dozen emails to [email protected] requesting support. Absolutely not one message has been received. After looking online I saw that the majority of complaints say the same thing: the company takes your money, then locks you out and never responds to requests for customer support. If these complaints go back to at least 2018, it would seem that Grindr is engaged in large scale fraud.
