They required a deposit of $1,000.00 which was sent on 2/8/21. The name on the contract was "Leslie Paul" yet I have come to find out that the name on the bank account that the funds went to is "Leslie Lozano". I filed a fraud dispute with my bank as well.
On 2/11/21, the day the puppy was to arrive, I was advised by the pet transport company that they could not ship the puppy due to an insurance requirement that required an additional $1,500.00 which would be refundable upon arrival of the puppy. I immediately became suspicious and began to research the pet logistics company (as there were no negative reviews / information regarding the breeder as they came across as a "mom and pop breeder"). The pet logistics company is a total scam and I will file a separate scam report for that organization yet the fake breeder and transport company are clearly working together or one in the same.
I identified that this was a scam and attempted to get a refund yet the fake breeder has refused to respond to phone calls, text or email. I have also filed an FBI report.
