I recently opened an LLC. I received a letter in the mail from an entity calling itself “CPS.” They used misleading language to imply we needed to pay them $295 for a safety manual in order to comply with“Federal Osha laws.” They cited alleged government laws and fines to increase the pressure. They listed a P.O. Box in Washington D.C. and a QR code for means of payment.
