Type of a scam Online Purchase
Purchased a phone holder on their website for my car because I need it for work. $42.25. Gorilla Cases never sent product, never sent tracking number, processed my money and I never heard from them with any information after I completed order.
Followed up after 10 days (figured there was a delay because of covid) asking if they knew when to expect my product, got one answer, "2-5 days." That's it. Tried to follow up a couple more times via email and never got a response. 7 emails total I've sent trying to contact - nothing. Finally asked for a refund please since they never sent my order or ever replied. Nothing. I finally had to get my credit card company involved and it's still in process of dispute.
I really wanted to support small business and not shop at a big retailer! That's the whole reason why I went with this company! Never again. :( I'm barely making ends meet and this douche bag is scamming the poor. I hope they get shut down and nothing but bad luck follows them. The website uses STRIPE to process funds, it all seemed legit. It's not. GORILLA CASES IS A SCAM WEBSITE. Their website shows an 888 number, but the number on their emails is a 330 area code, which is Ohio. Google number, not traceable I think. So not sure if they're really based in OH or not.
