Mr Gonzalez was contacted via craigslist through his wife tiana gonzalez, in which she was contacted to provide household cleaning, she stated her husband also assists. Mr Gonzalez provided an estimate for move out cleaning, electrical work and concrete smoothing. Mr Gonzalez was paid a total of $500 (250 cash and 250 cashiers check via certified mail) for minor electrical (outlet installation) and concrete smoothing in garage. Mr Gonzalez started the concrete smoothing in the garage when owner present and paid cash however did not finish ,stating he would return to complete when dry, after a months time of contacting him, he did not complete the concrete and did not even start the electrical. Mr Gonzalez cancelled two scheduled times with tenant and ignored owners calls. Tiana Gonzalez wife also was contacted , however no response when asked to compete job or refund. Garage was left incomplete and electrical never done, however he was paid and did not refund the owner or return calls. Mr. Gonzalez has several numbers on craigslist. He presented himself as a trustworthy person even when owner stated she could not arrange for anyone else due to major surgery, however once paid via mail with certified check, he disappeared, leaving owner in a bind as the tenant was instructed to keep her items in storage until concrete done and the owner lives out of town.
