I received an unsolicited email job offer from someone claiming to be "Steve Handy" at Glyph Art Gallery with a subject line Zip Recuriter- Personal Assistant Job offer. Stating I was hired as a Personal Assistant. I never interviewed or applied for this position. The email offered a weekly paycheck of $850 and requested confirmation of personal details, including my full address, email, phone number, and emergency contact. They also mentioned mailing checks to my home address and asked me to manage communications, payments, and online errands.

There were multiple red flags:

No official company email domain was used.

No interview or application process

They asked for sensitive personal information upfront.

The job duties were vague and unrealistic for the pay offered.

The company name doesn't appear to be legitimate or verifiable online.

This appears to be an employment scam aimed at collecting personal information and potentially issuing fake checks.
